Transportation Meltdown

Images online and on social media sites show indoor thermometers reaching unbearable temperatures. One picture which emerged on BBC London News shows temperatures of 48°C on a London bus.

A London bus driver explained she has personally seen temperatures of 35°C but has also seen photos online of much higher. She also referred to the UK having a maximum livestock temperature of 30°C, but no maximum for people.
